As promised, below we recognize some of the amazing record-breaking swims from Saturday’s 2023 Bux-Mont League A Championships.  

12 and Under Girls: 

Camille Serban broke both the League and Hatfield Pool Records in the Girls 50m Backstroke with a time of 32.06, breaking Megan Smith’s (SOUD) record of 33.52 from 1991.



Camille Serban, Elizabeth Downey, Eliot Foff and Elena Gialias broke both the League and Hatfield Pool Records in the 12U Girls 200m Medley Relay with a time of 2:16.43, breaking the record of 2:17.55 set in 2008 by FC.   


14 and Under Girls: 

Maisey Shaffer broke the League Record in the Girls 50m Breaststroke with a time of 34.96, breaking Angela Severn’s (SOUD) record of 35.06 from 2006.

14 and Under Boys: 

Jack Riegel broke both the League and Hatfield Pool Records in the Boys 100m Freestyle with a time of 56.41, breaking Jack Kramer’s (HAR) record of 56.54 from 2008. 


Luke Tomlinson, Nate Liang, James Ruch and Jack Riegel broke both the League and Hatfield Pool Records in the 14U Boys 200m Medley Relay with a time of 1:57.99, breaking the record of 1.59.41 set in 2016 by NG.  
  

Senior Boys:
 
Although Derek Feldman touched the wall 2nd, Derek, along with the first and third place finishers broke both the League and Hatfield Pool Records in the Boys 100m Freestyle.  Derek, with a time of 51.48, broke Nicholas Fanslau’s (TOW) 2002 League Record of 53.13 and Kevin Muskerait’s Hatfield Pool Record of 53.95.  Although Mason Potts (NG) will get awarded the record, we wanted to make sure we honored Derek’s amazing accomplishment as well.
