Meet at TCAT Details

Hi Sharks,

We are super excited that our first meet of the season is here! We swim against the Tennis Club (TCAT) on Saturday morning at their pool. Here is some important information on location, parking, timing and food. There’s a lot of information here, so please read it carefully.

TCAT Swim Meet location: 403 Westbrook Drive, Carrboro, NC 27510

TCAT Swim Meet Parking: Please park ONLY in designated parking spaces at the tennis club (or) alongside Westbrook Dr (or) in the park-n-ride on Berryhill Dr.

• You will get towed or ticketed if you park in the bike lane alongside Berryhill Dr.
• You will get towed if you park in the Weatherhill Point subdivision.
• You will get towed if you park in the emergency lane or fire lane in the tennis club upper parking lot.
• You will get towed if you park or block the emergency gravel road running alongside the tennis club indoor tennis facility.
   

TCAT will have their regular Café open, serving hot breakfast items for the meet as well as regular meet candy fare and other regularly served treats. Credit Cards will be accepted.

Arrival Times:

• 8:00am Chaperones
• 8:10am Swimmers
• 8:25am Warmups
• 8:25am All other volunteers arrive
• 9:00am Meet start!

Reminder, for 10 and under Sharks, please check your children in with the parent chaperone’s, do not just “drop” them off. This is important to ensure that all kids get checked-in for the meet. Also, you must stay on the deck during the meets. All meets require attendance of at least one parent or responsible adult (19 years old or older) for swimmers age 10 and under.

No outside team suits or caps, i.e., no NCAC gear. It is an automatic DQ.

No photography behind the blocks.

• Saturday June 7^th – First meet of the Season at the Tennis Club (TCAT) – Registration deadline Wednesday June 4^th
• Monday June 9^th – Sundae bar
• Wednesday June 11^th – First Home Meet vs Exchange – Registration deadline Sunday June 8^th
• Wednesday June 11^th – Team Picture before the Meet
• Tuesday June 17^th – SHARK DANCE!! Register like you declare for the meets and write a note on how many Adults/siblings will be accompanying the Shark(s). ($25 per adult and $14 per kid).
