Details for Big Kids Dinner and HRST Meet

Hi Sharks,

Big Kids Dinner with the Coaches. Your middle or high schooler will not want to miss this event!

Date: Tuesday July 8^th

Time: 7:00-9pm (Practices will be combined at 5:30)

Location: Tandem – 200 N Greensboro St #1-A, Carrboro, NC 27510. It will be a fixed menu and $32/kid (this includes gratuity).

RSVP: On our Calendar tab. 

Age: Any swimmer entering or in middle school or high school. 

CHCC Members: Your club account will be charged for this event.

Ridgewood Members: Please Venmo $32 to Amy @Amy-Glekas, last four digits 9077. Please add the full name of your child in the RSVP section. If you don't have Venmo, you can bring me cash on Tuesday. 

Parents: I (Amy) plan to hang out in the main restaurant or bar area while the kids are in the private room. I would be delighted if anyone would like to join me for dinner and drinks, however you are very welcome to drop off your kids!

Details for Meet Wednesday July 2^nd at Hollow Rock (5100 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27707):

Arrival times:

• 4:00 Chaperones
• 4:15 Swimmers
• 4:30 Warm-up
• 4:30 Other Volunteers arrive
• 4:40 Scorekeeper/Starter/Timer Huddle
• 5:00 Meet start

Notes from Hollow Rock:

• You can park anywhere in our parking lot that you would like.  We will have some attendants in the parking lot helping direct you to parking- we will also have a shuttle service from Forest View Elementary (3007 Mt Sinai Rd, Durham, NC 27705). We recommend you have coaches at the club house and have parents drop swimmers off with them at the club house. The shuttle will run from 4-8:30.
• We ask that your swimmers enter through the club house entrance.  That is also where you can stage your volunteer check in table.
• Our family pool is closed during the meet- which means we can stage swimmers around the family pool deck.  Please note that the family pool will not be open and swimmers should not get in the water in the family pool.
• We will have concessions- waters, gatorades, pizza and treats for sale - CASH ONLY
• Our scorekeeper/starter will have a quick meeting for timers at 4:40 to make sure all is good to go. (under shelter between bathrooms- shade!)
