Last 2 weeks of SHARKS has LOTS of FUN EVENTS!!
Hi Sharks,
We hope everybody are doing ok and were not greatly impacted by yesterday’s storm. The Country Club pool was spared and practices are on as normal. We will have some visitors from Tennis Club joining us for morning practice this week as their pool flooded.
These last 2 weeks of the SHARK season are jam-packed with events, so get ready for an email-tsunami!!
First off, we have the last home meet of the season this Wednesday at 5pm vs Briar Chappel (BC). Please volunteer. The weather is not looking great at this time, and if we can’t have the meet, the Rain-makeup-day is Saturday July 12th.
Big Kid Dinner with the coaches is Tuesday July 8th at 7:00 after combined practice.
Location: Tandem – 200 N Greensboro St #1-A, Carrboro, NC 27510. It will be a fixed menu and $32/kid (this includes gratuity).

Age: Any swimmer entering or in middle school or high school.
CHCC Members: Your club account will be charged for this event.
Ridgewood Members: Please Venmo $32 to Amy @Amy-Glekas, last four digits 9077. Please add the full name of your child in the RSVP section. If you don't have Venmo, you can bring me cash on Tuesday.
Parents: Amy plans to hang out in the main restaurant or bar area while the kids are in the private room. She would be delighted if anyone would like to join her for dinner and drinks, however you are very welcome to drop off your kids!

SHARKAPALOOZA is on Thursday July 10th. Super fun event with Shark themed items for sale and other festivities.
On Thursday, July 10th, we will hold a combined evening practice from 5:30 to 6:30. And, then the doors of SHARKAPALOOZA will open at 6:45 pm followed by "Pie the Coaches," Soda Dive, and Shark Family Pool Party.
What is SHARKAPALOOZA? Think of it as a Shark-Inspired Market. Any Shark (or Shark parent!) is welcome to arrive with items to sell. All money collected will be donated to a local charity. The Coaches and Parent Reps are still deciding on which organization the Sharks will support this year. And, then we turn the event into a Shark-tastic pool party.

- a raffle for a special time with coaches (ex. Pool Hang Out or Ice Cream)

- Nail Salon
- Shark Inspired Baked Goods
- And, More ...
We want YOUR SHARKS to sell their crafts, etc - you do not have to be professionals ... have fun crafting, baking, etc.
This is a CASH EVENT .... yes, CASH. And, do NOT show up with $20s. Items are usually in the $1 to $3 dollar range and $5 for Raffle Tickets. And, NO - Apple Pay is not accepted either ... this is an old school CASH experience.

CHAMPS 8&Under is on Saturday July 19th at 8:00 am
CHAMPS 9/10 & 11/12 is on Saturday July 19th at 1:00 pm
End of Season Banquet at the Chapel Hill Country Club on Sunday July 20th from 4:30pm-6:00pm followed by Pool Party! The cost of the event is $15 per person. We’ll have dinner and end of season awards. After the banquet, we’ll head to the pool for some fun!! RSVP online by declaring your children for the event. Please add the number of other family members attending in the notes section. Sibs welcome!
