Spirit Posters Tonight and Opportunities for Donations at Champs

Hi Sharks,

Champs is almost here!! One tradition we have is to make Spirit Posters, and thus tonight is Spirit Poster and Popsicle night. We will make posters from 5:00-7:30pm so 8 & unders can come before practice (5:00) to avoid being wet and doing their posters. The 9 & ups can come before their practice (6:00) and do their posters. This a fun event for the kids – we’ll have all the supplies. Just stop by and make a good luck poster. For all of our artists, we ask that you put your name and especially your age on the back so we can get the posters to the right Champs Session. IF the weather is bad, we have the Rosemary Room on reserve and will do the Popsicles and Posters there.

This year we will again be doing a Food Drive, supporting Porch Chapel Hill/Carrboro at Champs. The most needed supplies are Condiments, Nutella, hearty snacks, plain oats, cooking oil, pasta sauce. See attached flier for more info.

Due to the heavy rain of Chantal, the Exchange pool got severely damaged. The are looking for donations to help pay for this and get their kids back in the water. Please see attached flier for information on how to donate. Thank you all for your kindness. I know there have been a lot of requests lately.
