Introducing new coaches and volunteer form

Christina Garber

Hi Swim Families!

Planning for our upcoming summer is in full swing.   First of all, the board is delighted to announce the newest members of our coaching team.

Our new head coach, Liz Skolnicki, grew up swimming for Camp Hill Aquatic Club. She last coached CHAC for the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Liz swam distance freestyle including 200, 500, 1,000, and 1650 free for Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She is currently an ESL teacher at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School. Liz is mom to Grant and Miles, who will both be swimmers this summer. She lives in Camp Hill with her husband (Joe) and two boys, and their rescue poodle, Pinky.

Our new assistant coach, Kevin Santos, is a freshman at Edinboro University studying history and secondary education. He swims distance events, backstroke, and IM for the Edinboro Fighting Scots swim team. Before college he was a letterman on Cumberland Valley High School's swim team and a lifeguard at Messiah University.Next, as you all know, the summer swim team is largely volunteer led, and we would love to expand our leadership team. Would you consider volunteering in one of the unfilled positions heading into the new season? Please take a minute fill out the following short, interest form. https://forms.gle/cUyYaq6nfBsko1qA6

There is also a space to share thoughts about how we can improve the coming season. We appreciate all of your feedback!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about the upcoming season.
Best,
