WEEK THREE UPDATE: Water practice and declaring for swim meets

Hello Swim Team Families!

Welcome to week three of swim team!  The temperatures are FINALLY heading in the right direction!

A few reminders as we enter this next week and begin water practices…

-Parents must stay up on the pool deck during morning swim team practices for safety and focus of all.  No parents or siblings are permitted in the grass or pool loungers during the morning practice.

-Your swimmer should have goggles, a water bottle, and a towel with them at practices. For these chillier practices, I would suggest multiple towels so they have a dry option at each break.

-Swim team team shirts are IN! If your swimmer was registered prior to May 1st, we have a shirt for them! If registered after, please be patient with us over the next few practices while we get a better idea of what extra sizes we have available.  Parent swag may be purchased at https://hardlineprinting.com/collections/cardinal-hill-swim-team-merch

-Meet volunteer jobs will open for sign upon our website tomorrow at 8 am (please check your email tomorrow at 8am for link)

-Our swim meets will soon be open for you to declare your swimmer as attending or not attending!  This can feel like a process at first, but we promise it’s super easy once you get the hang of it.  It is also necessary for your swimmer to participate in the meet.  Whether you are attending or not, communicating that to us on the website is huge, as it makes a big difference for Coach Dylan and Coach Chloe’s planning.  Please be respectful of their time, and take a moment to declare your swimmer once the meets are open tomorrow.

How to Declare for a Swim Meet:

-Visit www.cardinalhillswimteam.com

-Just under the CHST logo, click on Calendar & Events

-Click Swim Meets

-Click on title of meet (ex - “CHST vs Preble County”)

-Click “edit commitment”

-Click the member (swimmer) name to declare

-Select “yes, please sign up for event” or “no thanks, ___ will NOT attend”

-Save Changes
