TIME TRIALS RECAP
Thank you to everyone who came out to Time Trials on Saturday. It was beautiful weather to start the season. Thank you to all the parents who stepped up to volunteer and to those who worked a position that they never have before. As you can clearly see, it takes a village to run a swim meet! Official swimmer times will be available and posted after the make-up meet on Wednesday. 

 
 REIMBURSEMENTS
If you buy anything for the team at any point during the season (concessions, donuts, social event items etc), you can get reimbursed by filling out the Google Form on our website here  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdAjLOEc4HFSDlKMtqJc_Z-jpu67dEoiZsOcj6kHk-I3VrvTg/viewform, a check will be mailed to you within 7-14 days. Remember to save your receipts!

The free t-shirts for all swimmers who registered before 6/1 should arrive mid-week, we will distribute them at practices. 
 
 
MAKEUP TIME TRIAL & ICE CREAM SOCIAL
On Wednesday 6/12 we will have a Makeup Time Trial meet INSTEAD of afternoon practices. If your swimmer swam on Saturday, they will NOT be swimming on Wednesday. Swimmers who are attending Weds need to be at the pool at 4:30pm for warm-ups. Please Declare on the Website for this meet if you are attending to help our Computer Gurus out. The meet will start at approximately 5pm and we will only be using 3 lanes. It looks like all the volunteer slots are filled already, thank you!
 
As a Last Day of School celebration, EVERY swimmer on the team can come to the pool to get an ice cream treat at 6pm. Don’t worry for those swimmers in the meet, there will be ice cream for you too when you finish swimming! 
 
 
MORNING PRACTICES
Starting Thursday 6/13, we will be moving to morning practices for all Age Groups for the rest of the season. We will have all 6 lanes open for practice as we will be there before the pool opens to the members. Since there are no lifeguards on duty during this time, the baby pool, shallow area, and diving well are OFF LIMITS for activities not related to swim team. 
 
Monday - Friday
Ages 13 & Older — 7-8am (NOTE: 12 yr olds go back to swimming with 11 yr olds)
Ages 9-12 — 8-9am (NOTE: 12 yr olds go back to swimming with 11 yr olds)
Ages 8 & Under — 9-9:45am
 
If you need a different practice time than what is listed for your Age Group due to summer camps, please talk to Coach Cameron first before switching. 
 
 
DONUT FRIDAY
Our 1st Donut Friday is 6/14. Each swimmer will get to choose a Giant Donut after practice to reward them for a week of hard work! Swimmers don’t want to miss this!
 
 
TEAM SOCIAL

A MEET @ CHINQUAPIN
Our 1st A Meet is this Saturday 6/15, 8am against the Wahoos of Chinquapin. Their pool is located in Alexandria and it is the furthest we will have to travel this season for a meet. Coaches will select the swimmers for this scored meet based on top times from the Time Trial meets and will send the meet sheet out by noon on Friday. 3 swimmers are selected for each stroke in each age group. There are age group relays too! Coaches will need to know who is available for this meet so please declare ‘yes’ or ‘no’ for your swimmers on the website now.  The Declaration Deadline is 11:59pm on Weds 6/12.
