A MEET @ CHINQUAPIN RECAP
We won, we won, we won! It feels good to say that after going winless in the big scary Red Division last season. Despite missing several of our regular swimmers, our Stingrays put on an impressive show against the Wahoos and won by a score of 262-177 with several event sweeps. What a great way to start the season! Meet results can be found here on the CSL website. https://csl.nvblu.com/schedules

RECORD BREAKERS
Our first fallen Team Record of the season happened at Time Trials on 6/8.
Kate Li broke the Girls 9-10 50M Backstroke record with a time of 40.58. The old record was 40.72 from 2016.
Congratulations Kate!

Yesterday was definitely exciting as not only did Team Yard Records fall, but 3 League Records did as well!
Kyle Gadsby broke the Boys 13-14 50Y Backstroke CSL Record, the Boys 13-14 50Y Fly CSL Record, and the Boys 13-14 100Y IM CSL Record! His times were 24.36, 24.23, 55.35 respectively.
Congratulations Kyle!

CONCESSIONS CO-CHAIR NEEDED
We could use a volunteer to help our Concessions Chair for the season, especially for the Home B meets as the 2 teams coming to our Pool for those are Large Red Division teams. Duties involve helping purchase supplies and food, organizing and overseeing concession sales at the meets and whatever else is needed. This is 4 Volunteer Points for the Season. Please let us know if you can help ASAP!
