PRACTICE NOTE FOR THIS WEEK
We WILL have practice on the morning of Thurs July 4th with donuts available after practice! There will be NO Practice on Friday July 5th so families can enjoy 4th of July evening fireworks and cookouts and sleep in the morning after. Enjoy celebrating America’s Independence Day!

The forecasted thunderstorms held off on Wednesday evening and we were able to enjoy a small, laid back meet with the Bluefins. Their pool deck was spacious and comfortable, there were many best times and ribbons for our swimmers and we were all able to get home at a decent hour before the rain actually did come. A win for all!
Saturday morning was much more exciting as we battled the Green Stringrays from Loudoun County. It was a close meet the entire way but in the end our PURPLE Stingrays prevailed 245-205, we stand UNDEFEATED so far in the White Division. RECORD BREAKERS
We can’t seem to go a week without mentioning Emma Cigna and we love it! She broke her own 15-18 50M Backstroke Record with a new time of 30.95.
The Boys Mixed Age Freestyle Relay team of Jake Sim, Tyler O’Neil, Darren Kim, and Yaron Libeat a AF record set EXACTLY 5 years ago to the day! They posted a new time of 2:00.19.

UPCOMING B MEET VS ASHBURN VILLAGE 7/3
Sport your Red, White, and Blue this Wednesday for our B Meet vs Ashburn Village Aqua Jets. They are another large Red Division team but it is a holiday week so it may or may not be a crowded meet. Either way, come out for some yummy burgers and dogs and cheer on our swimmers! This will be the last chance for swimmers to get an IM seed time for the IM Tough Meet, so if this interests them, choose ‘IM’ as one of the 3 strokes. Declaration Deadline is 11:59pm Mon 7/1.
UPCOMING A MEET VS ASHBURN FARM 7/6
On Saturday we will have our last HOME Meet of the season as the Ashburn Farm Barracudas roll in. This will be a Battle of the Undefeated as they are also 3-0 in the White Division and it will be another exciting close meet! Coaches will select swimmers and they need to know who is available. The Declaration Deadline is 11:59pm Weds 7/3.
UPCOMING IM TOUGH MEET 7/8
The Deadline to Declare for this meet is 11:59pm Weds 7/3. The B Meet on Wednesday is also the final chance for swimmers to get an IM seed time for this meet!
UPCOMING RELAY CARNIVAL 7/14
This is a meet where all swimmers ONLY swim Relays and it is super exciting! It is hosted by Sugarland Run Swim Team and all CSL teams are invited. It will be held at 8am on Sunday 7/14 and will be a LARGE meet. There are age group medley relays, age group free relays, and mixed age mixed gender relays. The meet is scored by Division, ribbons are awarded, and fun is had by all. The coaches will select the swimmers, more meet info can be found on our Team Events page. Declaration Deadline is 11:59pm Sun 7/7.
