MORNING PRACTICES
We are in the full swing of the season and are about to switch to Morning Practices. On Friday June 13, practices will be Mon-Fri at the following times for the remainder of the season. 
Ages 13 & Older - 7-8am
Ages 9-12 - 8-9am
Ages 8 & Under - 9-9:45am
 
**If your swimmer needs to attend a different practice time due to camps or other conflicts, please talk to Coach Cameron first to ensure there is space.**
 
 
WEATHER REMINDERS
It’s been a rather rainy Spring and we have already had to cancel or modify some practices as a result of weather. Now that it is getting warmer, we will make every effort to keep practices and meets on in the rain, so come prepared! Only if there is lightning/thunder will we delay or cancel. 
 
 
TEAM RECORDS
One week into the season and a Team Record has already fallen!  Kate Li broke the 11-12 Girls 50M Backstroke record with a time of 36.37 at Saturday’s Time Trials. Katie Tsai was the previous record holder with a time of 36.53. Kate is picking up right where she left off from last year!
 
 
TEAM PICTURE DAY   
Thursday 6/12 is Team Picture Day with Olson Photography. Please meet at the pool at 7:15am, wearing your team suit from this year, last year, or another black or purple suit. There will be swimmer individual/sibling pictures taken as well as the entire team. Order forms will be available at the pool with an online buying option. Afterwards, there will be an optional Game Day, but no official practices. 
 
 
DONUT FRIDAY
This week is our 1st Donut Friday of the season. All swimmers can get a donut after practice. Everyone looks forward to this each week!

SOCIAL EVENTS
On Wednesday 6/11 there will be an Ice Cream Social to celebrate the last day of school and afternoon practices. Swimmers can get ice cream treats after their practice. 
 
 
MEET DECLARATION DEADLINES
Our 1st A Meet is this Saturday morning 6/14 @ Arlington Knights of Columbus. Coaches will select the swimmers based on their race times from last Saturday’s Time Trial Meet, practice times, and possibly prior season times. The meet sheet will be sent out by Noon on Friday.
 
It is important for the Coaches to know who is available to swim on Saturday. Please log in to your account and go to Team Events. Select the 6/14 A Meet and click on ‘Edit Commitment’. Declare ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for each swimmer on your account and Save it. The deadline to do this is MIDNIGHT on Weds Night 6/11. 
 
 
VOLUNTEERS
Thank you to everyone who volunteered at Saturday’s Time Trials. The meet ran pretty smoothly and quickly! We will need volunteers on Saturday, though less slots since it is an Away meet, but please sign up once you know your child is swimming in the meet. Remember, you need 5 points this season to stay in good standing!
