DIVISIONALS @ BURKE CENTRE RECAP
Our Stingrays did amazing at the Red Divisional Meet yesterday. We took home 42 total 1-6 place ribbons!
At the Half Time ceremonies, Armfield Farm received the following trophies:

BROKEN RECORDS
The pool at Burke Centre was indeed fast yesterday and our Super Stingrays took full advantage.
   
Kate Li   broke her own 11-12 Girls 50M Freestyle Record with a new time of 29.78. She also broke her own 50M Fly record with a new time of 32.65.
  
Kyle Gadsby   broke his own 15-18 Boys 50M Backstroke record with a new time of 26.37 and his own 50M Fly record with a new time of 25.82. 
   
Kyle Li   broke his own 15-18 Boys 50M Breaststroke record with a new time of 29.31 and broke the 15-18 Boys 100IM record set by Kyle G at IM Tough just a couple weeks earlier. The new time to beat is 57.78. Let the “Kyle battle” begin!
  
Yaron Li   broke his own 15-18 Boys 50M Freestyle record with a new time of 23.94.
   
Emma Cigna   surprised everyone but herself and not only broke her own 15-18 Girls 50M Backstroke team record with a new time of 28.91, she set the  COLONIAL SWIM LEAGUE RECORD!!!   If that wasn’t enough, she came from the slowest seeded heat in the slowest lane to break her own 15-18 Girls 100IM team record with a new time of 1:04.69. Oh and this was another   COLONIAL SWIM LEAGUE RECORD!!!   She broke her own 50M Fly team record as well (new time 28.66). Emma has definitely earned her Paper Plate Award nickname of “Outside Smoke”!

CORY YOUNG ALL-STAR MEET
Come cheer on our Stingray All-Stars in Ashburn Village next Saturday 7/26, we have 29 swimmers that qualified from their times at the Divisional Meet, either as Top 18 or as an Alternate. The Meet starts at 8am. It’s the last hurrah of the season for the Colonial Swim League and it showcases the best of the best in local Summer Swim! All-Star Families will receive emails this week regarding practices and other logistics.

WINTER SWIM PROGRAM
Be on the lookout for an email coming soon regarding our Winter Swim Program on Sunday evenings at Cub Run Rec Center. This is an hour long, once a week conditioning program that runs from September through May. We only take 33 swimmers and registration is first come first serve.
