Glen Weekly Update June 1st

Thank you to everyone for braving the chilly weather for photos and the Green and White meet.  There were some great swims for our 12-and-under swimmers.

The Gator-a-thon is coming up this Saturday.  Swimmers will show up at their scheduled practice times.

Team T-shirts will be available at Practice on Monday.

  • Saturday, June 7th: Gator-A-thon
  • Thursday, June 12th: No Practice (Last Day of School for Farmington)
  • Friday, June 13th: Morning Practice Begins
  • Saturday, June 14th: 11 and up Relay Meet (Sign up by June 9th)
  • Monday, June 16th Away Meet at BHAC (Decline by June 12th)
  • Saturday, June 21st, 9 and 10 mini meet (Sign-up by June 16th)

New Glen Gear Store

 We are excited to announce the opening of the online Glen Gear Store.  We have partnered with BSN Sports to provide you with the opportunity to order Glen and Glen Swimming gear.

The store will allow you to add one of three logos and several artwork choices to your choice of apparel.

Gator-A-Thon

Saturday, June 7th is the Gator-a-thon.  This fun event is one of our major fundraisers during the season. We are looking to make some timing and scoring updates for the 2026 Season

  • Swimmers will report at their normal practice time and will swim to complete as many laps as possible during their practice time
  • Information and Pledge forms are available on the corkboard at the Glen and on the event page.
  • Donations can be collected per lap or at a flat rate.

Swimmers will show up at their scheduled practice times.

 

11 and Up Relay Meet at Beverly Hills Athletic Club

  • This is an age group mini-meet for our 11 and up swimmers.  All events are relays picked by the coaches
  • If you would like to attend this meet, you must sign up for this meet no later than Monday, June 9th. 

 

We will need to provide a timer for this meet, this job can be split.  The timer's meeting is at 8:45 am.

9 and 10 Mini Meet

  • This is a league-wide meet for 9 and 10 year olds. 
  • Swimmers can choose their events for this meet. The order of events is on the event page. Please include a note with event preferences when registering. Each swimmer can swim 2 individual events.    
  • This is a positive sign-up meet. Swimmers who do not sign up will not be entered in the meet. 
  • (swimmer entry fees are covered by the club.)

 

Meet Info: 

  • Glen report time is 7:30 am
  • Admission: $5 for non-swimmers, $2 heat sheets 
  • Volunteers get free admission.  It takes a lot of volunteers to make this meet a success, so please sign up to volunteer.

 

First Glen Swim Team Euchre Tournament

Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025

This family-friendly event offers multiple ways to get involved:

  • Play Euchre! Uno tables will be available for the kiddos.
  • Enjoy a delicious dinner!
  • Bid on fantastic items in our silent auction!
