June 8th Glen Weekly Update
Hi Glen Glenns,
Thank you to everyone for joining us at the Gator-A-thon this Saturday, it was a great turn out with lots of laps swum.
There is no Practice on Thursday, June 12th, as this is the last day of school for Farmington Public Schools.
Friday, June 13th, will be the first day of the morning practice schedule.
Please be aware of the upcoming deadlines for meet declaration.
Upcoming important dates:
- Thursday, June 12th: No Practice (Last Day of School for Farmington)
- Friday, June 13th: Morning Practice Begins
- Saturday, June 14th: 11 and up Relay Meet (Sign up by June 9th)
- Monday, June 16th Away Meet at BHAC (Decline by June 12th)
- Saturday, June 21st 9 and 10 mini meet (Sign-up by June 16th)

Morning Practice Schedule
Beginning Friday, June 13th we will be switching to the morning practice schedule.
*11-12 will be told which practice to attend.
Team Suit "G"s
Someone will be available at the Glen during the following times to Heat Press "G"s onto black suits if you are interested.
We ask for $5 cash or Venmo for each "G"
- Tuesday, June 10th: 5-6 pm
- Wednesday, June11th: 4-5 PM
If these times don't work for you, let me know and we can make other arrangements.
11 and Up Relay Meet at Beverly Hills Athletic Club
- This is an age group mini-meet for our 11 and up swimmers. All events are relays picked by the coaches
- If you would like to attend this meet, you must sign up for this meet no later than Monday, June 9th.
- Meet Information:
- Arrival Time will be announced this week
- Meet starts at 9:00 AM
- Beverly Hills Athletic Club is located at 18157 Beverly Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025
- Parking information will be released with the arrival time.
June 16th Away Meet at BHAC
We will be back on BHAC on Monday, June 16th for our first dual meet.
- Swimmers who cannot compete in this meet must sign off by Thursday, June 12th.
- Swimmers who do not decline will be entered in the meet.
- Glen report time: TBA
- Meet Start Time TBA
9 and 10 Mini Meet
- This is a league-wide meet for 9 and 10 year olds.
- Swimmers can choose their own events for this meet. The order of events is on the event page Please include a note with event preferences when registering. Each swimmer can swim 2 individual events.
- This is a positive sign-up meet. Swimmers who do not sign up will not be entered in the meet.
- (swimmer entry fees are covered by the club.)
Meet Info:
- Glen report time is 7:30 am
- Admission: $5 for non-swimmers, $2 heat sheets
Gator-A-Thon
Thank you to all who came and swam to help us raise money for scoring and timing upgrades for the team.
Pledges are due on June 22nd and can be dropped off in the Blue Swim Team lockbox located by the team bulletin board.

First Glen Swim Team Euchre Tournament
