June 29th Glen Weekly Update

Congrats to our 8-and-unders on some great swims this weekend.

Note the deadline for the Euchre tournament sign-up is coming up Tuesday, also every family needs to support the Euchre tournament in some way, volunteer, donate, or play. 

Please be aware of the upcoming deadlines for meet declaration. Please make sure you are signing up or declining meets as soon as possible.

Upcoming important dates:

• Monday, June 30^t,h Home Meet vs Huntington Woods (Decline by Thursda,y June 26^th)
• Tuesday, July 1^st: SIGN UP FOR EUCHRE TOURNAMENT DEADLINE, Sponsorships and basket donations are due.
• No Practice July 4^th-6^th. Fun Firecracker Practice on Thursday, July 3^rd.
• Monday, July 7^th: Home Meet vs Beachwood (Decline by Thursday, July 3^rd)
• Thursday, July 10^th, Away Meet at Forest Hills (Decline by Monday, July 7^th)

Home Meet vs Huntington Woods

We need concession volunteers for this meet.

Parking:

• Please carpool if possible and leave the main Glen lot for our guests. 
• You can park behind the Total Sports Building (do not park on the grass), Huron River Clun and also behind LOC. 

Report Time is 3:30 PM

Meet Start time is 5:30 PM

Gator-A-Thon

We reached our goal of $6K.  Thank you to all who contributed.  Be on the lookout for prize winners and Drew in a Sumo Costume.

First Glen Swim Team Euchre Tournament

Sign-up Deadline and Donations are due Tuesday, July 1^st. 

We need players, volunteers, and donations to make this event a success.

 

Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025

This family-friendly event offers multiple ways to get involved:

• Play Euchre! Uno tables will be available for the kiddos.
• Enjoy a delicious dinner!
• Bid on fantastic items in our silent auction!

Upcoming Events

 

The Spirit breakfast is Friday, July 18^th

   We will serve breakfast to the swimmers following practice.  This is $10 per swimmer, Venmo, cash, or check.  Please RSVP by Monday, July 14^th

 

Banquet

The end of the season banquet is Sunday, July 27^th at 6:15 PM

Cost: $25 per person

Please RSVP by Wednesday, July 23^rd.
