💦 Get Ready—The 2024–2025 Cool Dell Swim & Dive Season is Almost Here!
The countdown is on, and we’re thrilled to welcome new and returning families to another summer of swimming, diving, and team spirit!
Please take a few minutes to review the important updates below, including dive team details, spirit wear deadlines, practice schedules, meet info, and volunteer sign-ups.

✅ 1. Returning Families – Please Register ASAP!
If your child is swimming or diving this summer, please complete registration as soon as possible. This helps us finalize coaching staff, assign practice groups, and plan for the season.

- Cost: No payment is due at registration—you’ll complete the form and see a $0 balance.
- After registering: Your swimmer(s) will show as “waiting for approval.” Don’t worry—we manually approve all registrations before the season begins.
- Team selection: Make sure you register your child for the correct group: Swim Team, Dive Team, or both.

👕 2. Spirit Wear Store – Now Open!
🎯 Deadline: Tuesday, May 27 at MIDNIGHT! (There will not be another chance to order Spirit Wear after the store closes)
We have a quick turnaround to ensure delivery before the first meet, so please place your orders ASAP!
New this year: Puffy-letter hoodies, dri-fit Nike hats, visors, tanks, sweatshirts, PJs, tees, jackets, croc charms, sunglasses, and more!

3. Ribbons 🎖️
- Swimmers age 12 & under: Automatically receive ribbons after each meet.
- Swimmers age 13+: Will only receive ribbons if they opt-in.

4. Swimmer Evaluations
Missed the swimmer evaluations earlier in May? Here is another chance to have your child evaluated. These evaluations are only for new members to the team OR returning swimmers who would like to be evaluated for our 7:30 group (ages 7-11 who are PROFICIENT in all four strokes and have endurance to keep up with a training practice).

5. Swim Practice Schedule Week of May 26th:
Tuesday, May 27 Evening Practice:
4:30-5:30 pm: Evaluations and reevaluations for new swimmers (all ages)
5:30-6:30 pm: Group 3 (age 7-11 who are proficient in all 4 strokes)
Wednesday, May 28 Evening Practice:
4:30-5:00 p.m: Group 1 (age 6 and under)
5:00-5:30 p.m: Group 2 (age 7-10 who are not proficient in all 4 strokes)
5:30-6:30 p.m: Group 3 (age 7-11 who are proficient in all 4 strokes)
Thursday, May 29 : NO PRACTICE
Regular morning practice schedule beginning Friday, May 30 (including mornings of meets):
7:30 – 8:30am – Group 3 (swimmers age 7 – 11 who are proficient in all 4 strokes)
8:30 – 9:45am – Group 4 (swimmers age 12 & over)
9:45 – 10:30am – Group 2 (swimmers age 7 – 10 not proficient in all 4 strokes)
10:30 – 11:00am – Group 1 (swimmers age 6 & under)
A few reminders regarding practice:
- If your child needs to miss practice, email Coach Ted and Coleen at [email protected]
- To allow the swimmers to focus on swimming, please stay off the pool deck during practice. Parents can sit on the upper deck or the patio near concessions.
- Drop off for swim and dive team is at the top of the hill. DO NOT park in reserved parking spots that do not belong to you or drive down the hill to drop off or pick up kids for practice.

7. Swim Meet Declarations 🏁
Please log in and declare your swimmer’s attendance at meets as early as possible. This helps coaches with lineup planning.

- Fri, July 11 – 11 & Over Conference Champs @ Cool Dell
- Sat, July 12 – 10 & Under Conference Champs @ Cedar Mill
8. Job Duty Sign-Ups 💼
Each family must complete 3 (possibly 4) job duties during the regular season.
- Only one sign-up per family for the Green & White meet.
- Families with 10 & Under swimmers: Must sign up for at least one bullpen duty.
- Conference job sign-ups will open later.
