🏊 Swim Meet at MAC West – Monday, June 16

πŸ“Œ Important Deadline: Declare Swimmers by Midnight TONIGHT (Thursday, June 12)

Please declare your swimmer's attendance in SportsEngine by midnight tonight.
If your swimmer will NOT attend, kindly decline their attendance.

Des Peres Rd runs along the west side of Hwy 270 (between Clayton Rd & Manchester).

πŸš— Parking Tips

  • If the MAC lot fills up, park at Alive Church (just north of MAC).

  • Stairs at the back of the lot provide direct pool access.

  • Many families prefer to park there from the start!

⏱️ Meet Day Schedule

  • Arrival: 4:45 PM

  • Warmups (Cool Dell): 5:00–5:30 PM (Full pool access – 6 lanes)

  • Meet Start: 5:30 PM

  • Bullpens: Grass area near the baby pool (no shade – bring tents/umbrellas)

  • Heat Sheets: These will be emailed on Monday

  • Please apply sunscreen and bug spray prior to arriving in the Bullpen.  These items are not allowed in the Bullpen.

  • Please help clean up after your swimmers and yourself

πŸ” Food & Facility Info

  • MAC offers food and drinks: burgers, chicken strips, fries, fruit, smoothies, and more.

  • Credit card only (3.5% surcharge applies)

  • No tipping – a 20% club service charge is automatically added.

  • No outside food or drink allowed

  • Bring folding chairs for seating – no towel service during meets.

⛱️ Bullpen Tents Needed

We need ~5 tents for swimmer shade in the bullpen.

  • Cool Dell has 2–3 tents available.  They are stored in the storage room to the right of the men's restroom.

  • If you have a tent at home, please bring it!

  • Pick up team tents on Monday after practice if you can help.

  • Help is needed with setup. Contact Chris Victor, Meet Director, if you can assist.

🚻 Locker Room Guidelines at MAC

  • Swimmers: Use Girls/Boys locker rooms on the south side (via patio ramp).

  • Adults only: Locker rooms by the ProShop.

Please send swimmers with labeled water bottles, especially for 7:30 & 8:30 AM practices.

  • 12 & Under: Ribbons available Wednesdays near the front desk (file boxes, sorted by last name)

  • 13 & Older: Must opt-in – email Mary at [email protected]

  • All groups use fins on Thursdays.

  • Recommended:

  • Sporti Essential Fins 
  • Speedo Long Blade Fins

  • Mandatory for 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM practices.

  • Not required for 9:45 AM & 10:30 AM practices (loaners available, but limited larger sizes).

  • Arrive early to borrow. Return to labeled bins post-practice.
