Preseason Information #1 - Summer Swim Updates and Reminders

Hello everyone!

So happy to see some new faces at the first teamwear expo!

I have a few updates and reminders. You will start receiving an email from me every week or two as we progress toward the season. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to send me an email.

 

Swim Team Sundays

Registration for Swim Team Sundays ends May 1st! Make sure you register before that date to ensure a spot!

If you have registered and would like to add Swim Team Sundays, just email me. I can take care of that. It is highly recommended for new swimmers!

This program runs on all the Sundays in May from about 3-6pm. Youngest swimmers commonly swim first. Exact time frames will be assigned once registration closes.

 

Preseason Intrasquad Meet on June 7th at 5:00pm

This is something new we are trying this year, so I wanted everyone to be aware early!

You can think of this as a scrimmage where just Aqua Culture swimmers are competing. This event will mainly focus on introducing new swimmers to things they will see at a swim meet. This will also allow parents to volunteer as a timer or official and observe the flow of a meet.

Older and more experienced swimmers may be asked to volunteer to help run the meet and encourage our new athletes! You will have to commit to attend the event on our swim team website similar to all other in-season meets. More information about that process at a later date.

This is not required. But this is also highly recommended for new athletes.

 

Caps with Names!

If you would like to order custom swim caps with your name on them, please fill out this form. The due date is May 1st, along with the team store.

 

Calendars

Final calendars will be posted by the end of next week. The practice schedule is within the handbook, and Meet Schedule is already posted. These calendars will be your best resource for a more detailed and conclusive look at the season.

Meets will also be posted on the team website for commitment at that time.

 

Important Upcoming Dates

April 19th – Teamwear Expo

Please order a team suit by this date to ensure you have the correct size at the start of the season. Back stock will be very limited. If you would like to order a suit and do not need to come in person to try one on, email me directly.

May 1st – Deadline for Swim Team Sunday registration and Team Apparel orders!
