Valleybrook Meet Results

Lots of best times and really exciting relays! Great job to all the swimmers.

Pick your events for Maryland Golf!

If your swimmer would like to make some event requests for Maryland Golf, you should be able to go in and do that now within your account. I extended the deadline until Tuesday, July 8th.  

Make sure to collect your ribbons!

Some new people may not know that the swimmers get awarded for 1st-6th in individual events and 1st-3rd in relays. They also get awarded for every best time that they achieve! Those ribbons are placed in bins at the swim school labeled with their last name.

Championships!

I will be sending a separate email today all about Championships so the information is easy to find and refer back to later. 

 

Looking ahead at week 5!

Practice

  • Back to the usual
  • Sunday night and mornings at HCC.
  • No first group on Tuesday night.
  • We are really trying to refine all the skills we have worked on through the season this week as we go through our last two in-season meets. Hopefully we can squeeze in a couple more legal times before we are out of time!

One meet against Rock Spring (Wed) and Maryland Golf (Sat) are coming this week.

  • Rock Spring is our last in-division meet. This will be a close meet and will decide our ranking in the league standings. Hopefully everyone brings the energy! Keep in mind that every point counts from every individual and relay event!
  • Maryland Golf is our last meet and your last opportunity to get a best time or try a new event before championships!
