- Started swimming at the age of 5
- OHSAA State Champion in 100 free in 1984
- Triple Y National Champion in 1984
- Swam for The Ohio State University from 1984-1988, held 7
Varsity records (Freestyle, Backstroke and IM)
- Club Coach from 2018 to current for Dublin Community Swim

- Swims and competes nationally with the New Albany Masters

Coach Mark is married to wife Rene, has two children Zoe and
Zak who both were student athletes at Coffman High School in
volleyball and swimming respectively.
This will be Coach Scott's second year as Assistant Coach for Dublin Coffman Swim Team.
Scott started swimming at an early age in the Cleveland area. He was a 4 time OHSAA State Tournament qualifier. Runner up in the 50 free (1993). In addition, he is a 4x Junior National Qualifier.
Scott swam for The Ohio State University in the mid 1990's where he specialized in freestyle. He is also currently the head age group coach for the Dublin Sea Dragons since 2017.
He was named ASCA Top 50 Age Group Coach in 2022
Scott is married to Melinda and has 2 boys, Ben and Ryan who are both on DCST. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing and running.
