- Lifeguards - The main pool is supervised by a lifeguard at ALL times. No one is allowed in the pool without lifeguard supervision. The Lifeguard is a trained professional hired to enforce pool rules and provide a safe environment to all. However, having a lifeguard on duty does not mean a caretaker
should neglect the safety of your child. Parents/Caretakers are responsible for making -
Food & Liquid Policies - there is absolutely NO glass allowed on any of the Lane Pool premises. There is no eating or drinking in the pool, or poolside. After all dining experiences, please take time to clean up after your visit. We have recycle cans for plastic, paper & aluminum. Please make sure the swimmer follows the rules, and has a safe & fun experience.

Pool Flotation Devices - If your child is not swimming independently, and need a flotation device they are NOT allowed in the pool by themselves, and can not use the deep end diving well or water slide. There are many DANGERS with inflatable arm bands, and the devices can not be relied upon to keep your child floating on the service of the pool. If your swimmer needs floatation support, the parent/caretaker must be in the pool having direct the swimmer. No exceptions!

ADULT SWIM - is small period of time dedicated to adults ONLY. It’s a great time to water walk, swim laps, or to refresh from a hot day. Adult Swim will normally be announced for the first fifteen (15) minutes of each hour when the pool is crowded. At this time, only responsible adult swimmers are allowed in the pool. Adults, however, may take children under the age 2 for a dip during these periods. The pool Steps MUST be clear of all swimmers.

Lifeguard & Manager's discretion - all safety staff will enforce rules & give our members a cordial warning to abide by the pool rules. If for any reason the member does not have the ability to follow, we will do our best to implement a warning system so the member can follow the rules independently.

Age of Independent Pool Visits - Children ten (10) years of age or under are not permitted within the swimming pool grounds unless in the custody of a responsible adult.

Pool Hours - The swimming pool hours may be changed due to swim meets, special events, weather, or pool conditions.

Baby/Toddler Pool - The baby pool will be closed during swim meets.

Non-scheduled Pool Closings - The swimming pool may be closed early in the evening because of adverse weather or if there are ten (10) or less people at the pool. This is at the discretion of the Swim Club Manager.

Lightning & Storm Policies - No member is allowed IN the pool or ON the pool deck during a lightning/thunderstorm. All members should evacuate the pool to a safe location, and wait 15 minutes from the last lightning or thunder strike. The Manager or Senior Lifeguard on duty will announce the reopening of the pool when storm is completed.
