Facility

TSC facility has a 6-line outdoor electronic scoreboard with electronic timing!

The pool was opened in 1996. It is 25 meters in length and is six lanes wide. The water depth is 3 1/2 feet at the shallow end, approximately 5 feet in the middle, and 7 feet at the end where the starting blocks are located. The pool is equipped with KDI Paragon starting blocks, competitor lane lines and backstroke flags for competitive swimming. TSC runs all its home meets with Hytek Meet Manager software. A bathhouse with changing areas and shower facilities is available. A concession stand is open during swim meets. Parking is limited, so carpooling is recommended and appreciated.

About the Club

The Talbot Swim Club was established in 1997 to offer a summer program of competitive swimming to area youth. Membership is open to any resident in the mid-shore region of Maryland. The overall objective of the Talbot Swim Club is to provide a family oriented, fun, positive competitive swim program that will allow each swimmer the opportunity to develop to his or her fullest potential. The values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the joy of doing one’s best are key ingredients to the success of the Talbot Swim Club.

The Talbot Swim Club trains and host swim meets at the George P. Murphy Community Pool in Easton, MD. The pool is located adjacent to Moton Park at the corner of Port Street and Easton Parkway (Rt. 322).
