Reading a Heat Sheet and Marking Your Swimmer

Here is a diagram of the way we mark a swimmer’s arm and a sample heat sheet.

You will need to find your swimmer on the heat sheet and highlight or mark, the event number, the heat number, and the lane number.   They can be in up to 3 events this meet.

The first grid item is E for event number.

The second grid item is H for heat number.

The third grid item is L for the lane they will swim in

The fourth grid item is S for stroke.

If you look at the sample heat sheet.  Martha’s arm mark would look like:

E

H

L

S

#13

3

4

25 FR

I’ll send the link for the heat sheets as soon as the are available.  PLEASE PRINT YOUR OWN! We will only have copies for the volunteers.  Use a sharpie to mark their arms.  If you are unsure someone can help you out before warmups.
