Guide to Heat Sheets & Arm markings
In order to help you, your children and our lovely volunteers keep up with where everyone should be during a meet, you should mark your child's arm in the following way.
![]() |

Here is how you do that:
First, you will need to find your swimmer on the heat sheet and highlight or mark, the event number, the heat number, and the lane number. They can be in up to 3 individual events.
If you look at the sample heat sheet. Martha’s arm mark would look like this:
| E |
H |
L |
S |
| #49 |
1 |
3 |
25 BA |
The first grid item is E for event number.
The second grid item is H for heat number.
The third grid item is L for the lane they will swim in
The fourth grid item is S for stroke.
I’ll send the link for the heat sheets as soon as the are available. PLEASE PRINT YOUR OWN! We will only have copies for the volunteers. Use a sharpie to mark their arms. If you are unsure about how to mark your swimmer, a seasoned swimmer or parent will be happy to help you!
