Meet Guidelines

I am looking forward to our meet at COLONIAL tonight. Their team size is similar to ours so it should be a good time. Mark your swimmer with their events on their arm and their last name on the Left shoulder. Refer back to previous news for a diagram. Just like last time, there will be some seating but bringing chairs is always a good idea. We really need all kids 10 and under to stay in the bullpen area. This makes them easier to find, and it is a good time to connect with teammates.  Bring towels to sit on and activities/card games for the kids to do while they wait. If there is a reason your child cannot sit with the rest of the team please have them report to the bullpen at least 5 events before individual races and 10 events before relay races, but please be aware several events are combined. After completing a relay, children should stay at their lane and wait for the final swimmer. The 4 racers are to report to the ribbon table together. At Colonial, we have a nice grassy area to bullpen our children. Just down the hill is the golf course. While seeing chilren run and play makes me so happy, it is absolutely unacceptable to run down that hill on to the golf course. Please explain this before you arrive to the meet. It is OK to leave the meet once your child is finished swimming, but you will first need to report to the bullpen to clean up some trash.
