*Help - Action Needed for Sleepy Hollow*

Lisa Butcher

Dear Tidalwaves Community,

What a great meet today at the sunny Scott Valley pool deck!

I would like to thank all volunteers who have contributed their time and effort to the first three meets of the season. Your punctuality and effectiveness have been awesome.

Next Saturday's meet (5/17) at the Redwood Pool, excluding the CHAMPS event, presents our most significant volunteer challenge of the season. Sleepy Hollow is the only team in the MSL league that is bigger than us (by two swimmers this year!). Our objective is to provide exceptional hospitality to Sleepy Hollow. This includes running a smooth meet schedule and ensuring efficient operations at the Snack Bar. We have a lot of families to feed, and it takes a lot of manpower to handle our excellent snack bar (hint: we need a second volunteer for the first half BBQ shift).

Which brings me to my *ASK*! We have received several requests for shift changes and have been unable to fill all vacant positions. Next weekend presents various commitment conflicts for many parents (As a parent of 3, I get it!).

There are currently seven unfilled positions (shifts) for the Sleepy Hollow meet, with three shifts available in the first half and four in the second half. If you can help, please contact me as soon as possible!

We would be so grateful, especially to those who’ve fulfilled their season obligation or weren’t planning to volunteer at this particular meet!

Thank you,

Lisa Butcher
