A big thank you to all our swimmers who joined us for our first Friends and Family Night of the season! We had a blast splashing in the sun with you.

Due to pool maintenance, there is NO PRACTICE Monday-Wednesday this week. Enjoy your Spring Break, and we’ll see you back on deck for practice on Thursday!

We’re just over a month away from our first event of the season: Time Trials. Every practice matters and helps you get closer to your goals—let’s keep up the great work!

🤝 Mandatory Parent & Swimmer Orientation 

On April 24 at 6 PM, join us on the pool deck for an important meeting where board members and coaches will introduce themselves and provide valuable information about the 2025 Carmichael Beavers Swim Team season. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the team, ask questions, and connect with fellow families. Please note that there will be no regularly scheduled swim practices on this day, and swimmers will not be swimming. We’re also selling snack bar punch cards, which are a HUGE lifesaver for parents during busy meets!

⌚ Stroke & Turn Training

The NorCal Swim League hosts training for key volunteer positions: Stroke & Turn Judge, Starter, and Meet Referee.

Whether you're new or just need a refresher, we encourage you to attend—the more trained volunteers we have, the smoother our meets run!

• Stroke & Turn Judges
  Monitor swimmers in assigned lanes to ensure proper strokes and turns are performed.
• Starter (Home Meets Only)
  Instruct swimmers and give the “take your mark” command to start each race using the Whistle Start system.
• Meet Referee
  Oversees meet operations, conducts the scratch meeting, monitors race finishes, and resolves disputes. Also briefs Stroke & Turn Judges before the meet begins. Must be familiar with League and US Swim Rules.

Monday - Friday
4 - 8 Years Old: 6:40 - 7:10 PM
9 - 12 Years Old: 7:10 - 7:55 PM
13 - 18 Years Old: 8:00 - 9:00 PM
