Mark Your Calendar – Team Meeting This Wednesday!

Join us on Thursday, April 24, at 6 PM on the pool deck for an important team meeting! Board members and coaches will introduce themselves and share key information about the 2025 Carmichael Beavers Swim Team season. This is the perfect chance to get your questions answered, meet other families, and learn more about what’s ahead.

Please note: There will be no swim practice that evening, and swimmers will not be in the water.

Bonus for parents: We’ll also be selling snack bar punch cards—these are a lifesaver during those busy meet nights!

⌚ Stroke & Turn Training

The NorCal Swim League hosts training for key volunteer positions: Stroke & Turn Judge, Starter, and Meet Referee.

Whether you're new or just need a refresher, we encourage you to attend—the more trained volunteers we have, the smoother our meets run!

Stroke & Turn Judges
Monitor swimmers in assigned lanes to ensure proper strokes and turns are performed.

Starter (Home Meets Only)
Instruct swimmers and give the “take your mark” command to start each race using the Whistle Start system.

Meet Referee
Oversees meet operations, conducts the scratch meeting, monitors race finishes, and resolves disputes. Also briefs Stroke & Turn Judges before the meet begins. Must be familiar with League and US Swim Rules.

**PLEASE NOTE: Practice times change on May 5, then again on June 16th due to Del Campo High School’s swim team and school schedule

Monday - Friday
4 - 8 Years Old: 6:40 - 7:10 PM
9 - 12 Years Old: 7:10 - 7:55 PM
13 - 18 Years Old: 8:00 - 9:00 PM
