Hi Beaver Families,

Our first swim meet of the season is this Saturday! We've included important details in this week's Buzz to help you prepare. For those extra committed and available swimmers, we will be holding normal practice on Memorial Day. Your coaches will be ready to provide one-on-one attention to help you advance any skills you're working to master. Please remember, you may not compete in swim meets unless you are registered with the NorCal Swim League. Registration information is provided below.

🏊 Swim Meet Saturday 

This Saturday, the Carmichael Beavers will race against the Rio Vista Sharks! This is a home meet, so we will be swimming at Del Campo High School. Swimmers, remember to check in no later than 6:30 AM but we'd love to see you early for setup support. We need all the help we can get, it's going to be a busy and HOT day!

Please complete the following as soon as possible:

• Declare your swimmer: RSVP to the event no later than Wednesday, May 28th.
• Volunteer: Sign up for a volunteer job. Remember, we do not have a swim meet without you, our amazing volunteers. As of now, we need a lot of afternoon volunteers. 
• Prepare: It will be HOT, HOT, HOT!! Please be sure to bring extra water, sunscreen, hats, and any other creative ways to keep cool.
• Support: At the end of the meet, please consider picking up chairs, trash, or team popups before you head home. Even the smallest effort will go a long way in helping us all endure the heat. Thank you!

To compete in swim meets, each swimmer must be registered with the NorCal Swim League. Registration is easy—just CLICK HERE, select Carmichael Beavers as your team, and pay the $20 fee. If you have any questions, please reach out to a board member!

Get ready, Beavers — our annual Swim-A-Thon event is coming soon! While the official date is still to be determined, the excitement is already building. Last year, our small but mighty team made waves by raising a record-breaking $10,000, and this year, we’re aiming to do it again in honor of our 60th birthday! The Swim-A-Thon isn’t just about laps — it’s a full-blown celebration with music, games, and tons of fun. And the best part? If we hit our goal, we’ll throw an unforgettable party for our amazing swim families. Let’s celebrate six decades of Beaver pride in style!
