We Need Your Help!

While you are registering your Mako swimmers, please consider assisting the team this season by volunteering in the following roles:

Pool Committee: (Meadowbrook Residents Only) The overall purpose of the Pool Committee is to monitor the quality of the pool, pool deck area, the pool house area (downstairs of clubhouse), liaise with lifeguard team, pool management company, and Makos BOD and recommend improvements to the MBW HOA Board of Directors. **Ideally this committee will consist of 3+ members. This committee is open to ALL MBW Residents, but we are hoping that we have a few Makos who want to make a positive impact this season.

The next roles are open to ALL Mako Families, MBW Residents or Non-Residents:

Concessions Lead -This can be filled by one or more volunteers. Plan, manage and execute concessions stand functions at Time Trials and our 3 home meets. 

Social Chair - Plan and organize all social activities including overseeing Team events at MBW Pool and in the community, and helping to oversee Pep Rallies, the annual Pancake Breakfast and the End of Year Banquet. Works with Service Hours Admin to enter all volunteer roles/hours into Team Unify.

Social Committee – Assist the Social Chair in planning and overseeing execution of all Makos events planned outside of meets.

Pep Rallies - Work with Social Chair to plan each pep rally including the event, food, and volunteers

Senior Recognition - Coordinate collection of bios for graduating seniors and assist with creation of photo collages/team signatures for last home meet for each senior

End of Year Awards - Coordinate with coaches to plan, purchase and provide awards at the banquet

Banquet Lead – Plan and organize the end-of-season banquet.  We typically have held it at Colgan High School, but we are open to ideas!  We plan to have it catered and professionally staffed this year.  You will work with the treasurer to determine the budget for food, venue, décor, and staffing.
