PWSL Week 1 2024
Welcome back to summer swim in Prince William County - we had gorgeous weather for week 1 and plenty of great swims across the county.
As usual for week 1, I compared this week to the last few years...I know our team had a lot of unavailable swimmers this week, I expect that swimmer number to go up throughout the season.
2019 Week 1: 3570 swimmers, 9158 splashes, 4024 improvements from seed times
2021 Week 1: 3038 swimmers, 7550 splashes, 2697 improvements from seed times
2022 Week 1: 3102 swimmers, 7368 splashes, 2864 improvements from seed times
2023 Week 1: 3221 swimmers, 7860 splashes, 3492 improvements from seed time
2024 Week 1: 3220 swimmers, 8107 splashes, 4107 improvements from seed time
No league records were set in week 1. You can use the same PWSL record file for week 2.
If you find yourself short of the new DQ slips, west side teams can pickup more packets at Sudley; east side teams contact John Avelis.
Live results are available at pwswim.org for all the meets that have the ability to update. You might find it down on Saturday afternoons/evenings while I clean up the meet databases and reload results to create the summary sheet, but once I’m done final results and Top Times should remain available on the site. Please consider all live results unofficial until I can get off deck and update the site with all the final results.
League results are uploaded to Reachforthewall.org and to swimcloud.com
Please see the updated Summary Sheet for an overview of all the meets. The Top 25 individual times and Top 15 Relays of the week are also available. This week's cyber meet and league record file are available to the computer reps on the “Computer Support” tab of this site; coaches and others should talk to their team’s computer reps to access them.
