City Meet
City Meet will run in waves this year. REST will swim on Saturday (6/26) afternoon - warm-ups start at 1pm. If a swimmer makes finals, they will also swim on Sunday (6/27) afternoon - warm-ups also starting at 1pm.

City Meet Jobs Now Online!
If you have a swimmer participating in City Meet, your family must sign up for a City Meet job. Jobs can now be found for sign up in the same way you sign up for regular meet jobs. Find the Event under Team Events > Walnut Creek All City Meet and look for the Job Signup link. There are two sessions with jobs, the Saturday PM Prelim meet and the Sunday PM Finals. If you have questions or problems, please contact Gene at [email protected]. Thanks!
Extreme PIzza Dine Out
This Tuesday is Dine Out Day at Extreme Pizza, Walnut Creek! All day from 11am to 9pm. Eat, drink, socialize, and FUNdraise all at the same time. The team will get 25% back on orders. Per the county, COVID restrictions will be loosened that day so Extreme will be able to accommodate more people with additional tables and their TWO outdoor patios. Grab something to go or plan to meet other Rat families there! Spread the word to your friends, neighbors and co-workers. They just have to mention “Rudgear Estates Swim Team” when placing the order. See attached flyer or click here.
Meet Jobs Still Remaining
If you have not yet signed up for your 4 Meet jobs volunteer assignments yet, please hurry. There are still four slots available for Wednesday’s home meet versus Woodlands and a few left for our home meet against rival Dewing Park on July 10th! If you are having trouble finding filling your remaining Meet Jobs commitments, contact Gene at [email protected] for help. Thanks!
Team Family Socials
We need your input! We would like to plan more FUN team events (private movie screening & A’s baseball games)! Please take this 2 minute survey so we know how to plan the rest of the season: https://forms.gle/FNVNbhj63TS31WLW9. Lack of interest might mean we don’t move forward. Thanks!
Age Group Socials
-8 and unders are meeting up tomorrow at the Main house. If you need details and still want to RSVP, click here for the Evite
-9/10s: Save the date for Tuesday, June 22! Evite to come soon.
-15/18s: - Save the date for the day (or two) after City Meet. Details are in the works!
Coach Lunches
Let's feed our coaches! REST families have a generous tradition of dropping lunch for our head & assistant coaches that spend their days at the pool. Families that previously signed up at the pool have been plugged into the same date here. Click this link for more info and to sign up. Thanks for spoiling our hard working coaching staff!
OnDeck Account Balance
If you’re seeing a $400 charge via your OnDeck app, this isn’t an accurate charge. (We aren’t sure why the app is showing this, but please just ignore it.) If you actually owe registration fees, you will receive an email from our treasurer.
Need Help? Have a Question?
We know that the first season of swim team can feel overwhelming - so much information coming at you! And this year is especially tricky as things keep changing as health and safety regulations and guidance change. We want to thank all of our new families for sticking with us this year and jumping in with both feet into that #BleedGreen spirit. All families are always encouraged to ask questions and ask for help as needed. We have some awesome veteran families who have volunteered to serve as age-group point people. Please reach out to them if you need any help, clarifications, or have any questions at all! Click here for the list.
Let's make it a great week everyone and GOOOOOOOOOO RATS!!
PS - We wanted to send a special shout out to everyone who helped the show go on at yesterday's meet! CTS crew, Desk, timers, and runners, you all were rockstars! And an extra special thank you to Andril Skoropaski for running out and finding right tool to fix our equipment in record time. Thank you all!
