Rat Pack - Apply Today!
It’s time to submit your application to join everyone’s favorite pack: the RAT PACK! Rat Packers help our younger RATS during both practice and meets and help out with Rugrats (formerly Polliwogs).
Joining the Rat Pack is like dipping your toes into the coaching waters for our older swimmers. It's a solid move if you're eyeing a coaching gig down the line and it adds some serious sparkle to your resume. As a Rat Packer, you'll beef up your coaching chops, flex your leadership muscles, amp up team spirit, and show off your sportsmanship skills... and have a ton of fun while you’re at it. Please note that Rat Packers must be at least 13 years old.
Rat Pack Coach Requirements
- 13+ years old
- Able to follow directions and willing to learn
- Good RATitude
- In-the-water helper for 6U during spring and 6U, 7/8s, and Rugrats during summer
- Cheer on all Rudgear swimmers during meets
- Exemplify and help promote our BLEED GREEN spirit
- Help shepherds out at meets, as needed
- Help behind the blocks during meets, as needed
Rat Pack Coach Times
- Spring and Summer 6U practice (April & May - 4:15pm-4:45pm; June & July - 11:15am-12:00pm)
- Summer 7/8 practice (June & July - 10:30am-11:15am)
- Summer Rugrats practice (Jun & July - M, T, Th, F 12:00pm-12:30pm)
- 6U and 7/8 lane helpers at swim meets, as needed
