Volunteer Signups Are Live

Our new Volunteers team is in place and Time Trials (June 5) and our first meet (June 12) are available for signup.  Other meets and volunteer opportunities to follow shortly.  

For those of you who have not signed up to volunteer before, there is information about typical swim meet jobs in the Volunteers section of our website, and a brief description of each job when you sign up.  There are a few differences this year because we are doing virtual meets and continuing to manage how many people are on the swim deck at the same time, so when in doubt, refer to signup descriptions for the latest and greatest.  To sign up:

1. Log into our website at caryparkswimteam.com
2. Go to the Upcoming Events section on the home page and select Job Signup for the event you are interested in
3. Check the box next to the job(s) you are interested in, and click the Signup button at the top of the page
4. In the pop up box, please enter your cell phone number under Optional Contact Information, along with the volunteer's name if someone else from your family will be the actual volunteer
5. Click Sign Up to complete your registration
6. If you need to change jobs later, you can Remove Signup in the same place.  Signups will lock in at 11:59 PM on the deadline date.  After then, you are responsible for finding someone to substitute if you are unable to participate

Please remember that each family with any swimmer(s) who are not Minis or 15+ is obligated to complete 12 volunteer hours during the season.  We strongly encourage all of you to get started early as each family is expected to complete 1/2 your points by mid-season.  Please feel free to contact our new Volunteers team, Maia Sisk ([email protected]) and Dorothy Hoimes ([email protected]) with any questions.  Thank you for your participation, summer swim is only possible because of YOU.  Go Sea Dragons!
