Michael Hansen

Head Coach

Coach Michael has been part of the Gators family since he was just six years old. A lifelong swimmer who competed on various teams, he returns for his seventh season coaching the Granite Bay Gators. Michael brings extensive coaching experience from recreational swimming, year-round programs, and high school teams. He’s excited to be back this year, eager to share his knowledge and passion with the team, and looks forward to helping everyone have an amazing summer!

A message from Coach Michael:

I’m excited to help out with the Gators this season. I’ve been with the team ever since before we joined the SSL. I love the sport of swimming and everything that comes with it. This team has been a huge part of my life and I’m ready to give back to the Gators and the community. I hope to be a part of everyone’s experience with this team and be an inspiration to all the swimmers. I cannot wait to work with everyone this summer!
