Germantown Invitational Cancelled

I am sure that most of you have heard by now that Saturday's meet has been cancelled. When the county schools and most of the private schools closed Friday and canceled all events for Friday and Saturday that meant that we had no choice but follow suit.

 

After receiving your response about rescheduling for December 21st, it has been decided that we will host the meet on Saturday December 21st. The times and everything will remain the same. I realize that this change will mean that you will probably have some changes to your entries. If you do have changes to your entries, please have a new entry file to me no later than Monday, December 16th. If you have no changes, then there is nothing you need to do. Hopefully this will allow any swimmers that were not going to be able to attend this weekend to do so on December 21st.

 

I have already asked Diana Harviel to put something on the league website and will do the same on the GST website. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I apologize for any inconvenience this might cause but hope it will make for a better meet in 2 weeks. Thanks for your patience.

NOTE: Coach Bryan is getting married the weekend of December 21 so the high school teams will not be participating in the reschedule. The next big meet we will look towards is the Shelby County Championships. 

 

Because the  December 12 high school meet is during exams, please consider it optional. I do highly recommend attending the meet as it is a good study break and getting a little exercise during exams is helpful! Please go to the TeamUnify site and declare your intentions for that meet. All undeclared athletes will be entered in the meet.
