Carib Swim Team Holds Annual Swim-A-Thon

CST ran their third annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser on Sunday. Although there were fewer swimmers than in past iterations, spirits were high, and many pancakes were consumed.

We are thankful to PAC Distribution for sponsoring the Extreme Runners Triathlon group’s participation, as well as French Sea Rescue SNSM for sponsoring some swimmers as well.

We must also thank Dinghy Dock for sponsoring the main prizes (Stand-Up Paddle Board, Inflatable Kayak, and more). We also are very appreciative of First Response, who once again are donating the T-Shirts for those earning over $100. Finally, we have donations from Great Bay Express (Ferry for two to St. Barth!), The Green House restaurant, and Aziana Restaurant (thanks to Inga for all of those!).

Finally, thank you to all who donated food for the event.

For the early (older kids and adults) session, Saphir Thomas finished first, however it should be noted that Joey Schvartz swam the 5K as 25x200IM continuous. For the later session, Yoshka Martinez had the quickest finish.

Thanks to everybody that participated, and as a reminder all donations and sponsorships are due on Tuesday 6^th June. We will know shortly after then who the winners are.
