Huge improvements at Pro Physio Prinsen/Studiomart Architects Go-The-Distance Invitational

Pro Physio Prinsen and Studiomart Architects sponsored Carib Swim Team’s second meet of 2021, the Go-The-Distance Invitational held on March 14, 2021. Carib Swim Team was the only team to participate, but they benefited with many new best times swum, and first-time swims in a lot of events.

New Carib Swim Team records were set by four swimmers. Nikki Grandtner (13 years), Joey Schvartz (11 years) Matias Piazza (13 years) and Taffi Illis (18/over) all broke the 800 freestyle record for their age. Taffi also set a new 18/over record in the 200 backstroke.

Many new time standards were set as well. New A times were achieved by Joey Schvartz (800 free and 400 IM) and Matias Piazza (800 free). New BB times were made by Adaya Bourne (800 free), Aiyana Bourne (100 butterfly), Nikki Grandtner (800 free), Arianna Lont (800 free and 400 IM), Adriaan Coppelmans (800 free), and Matias Piazza (200 backstroke). Finally, many swimmers achieved new B times, including Aiyana Bourne (200 free), Gigi Cai (200 back and 400 IM), Arianna Lont (200 back), Tatiana Penuela (100 breast), Darina Smirnova (100 breast and 200 IM), Al-Sheenia Wilson (400 IM), Nico Piazza (800 free), Kjeld Van Der Meer (100 free and 100 breast), Daan Vinke (200 free, 100 breast and 200 IM), Luuk Vinke (100 breast and 200 IM), and Chris de Wilde (100 back).

Other event winners were Lucas Berman, Nihal Chugani, Simon Creusot, Aurelie Desir, Aurelien Guyenot, Laeticia Martin, Diego Ramos, and Sacha Tobias.
