CST Brings Small But Mighty Contingent to Curacao Open Water

Three swimmers from CST traveled to Curacao for the second annual Sithoc Open Water competition. Matias Piazza was the fastest 3K perfomer (46:00.8), finishing almost six minutes in front of the second place swimmer. Joey Schvartz won the 1K competition (15:38.2), with Nicolas Piazza finishing in second place overall (17:05.0).

Unfortunately a rain/thunder storm on Saturday took some of the fun away, but the boys had a warm-up on the beach on Friday, and a good workout in a 50M pool on Saturday morning, before Sunday morning's competition.

Way to represent CST and St. Martin/Maarten! We look forward to more of these travel opportunities in the near future.
