Joey Schvartz Adds Three New Cuts for French Nationals
A quartet of French registered swimmers headed to Martinique this last weekend to participate in the NML competition. The results were highlighted by Joey Schvartz, who achieved three more qualifying times for the upcoming French Nationals (December 18 - 22 in Rennes). He added 50 breast, 100 breast, and 100 back to his already achieved 200 IM and 400 free. Joey is the first swimmer ever from St. Martin to qualify for French National Championships.
Additionally, Joey broke five CST team records: 400 free (4:48.66), 100 back (1:11.52), 50 breast (37.92), 100 breast (1:21.15) and 200 IM (2:34.06).
Also attending were Quentin Guyenot, Louise Creusot, and Simon Creusot, all of whom achieved some best times and raced well.
CST's upcoming meets (in addition to French Nationals) are this weekend's Pentathlon (November 21), Curacao travel meet (December 3-5), and CST's Holiday Bash (December 11-12). Following these competitions, the swimmers will get a little rest until the school meets, beginning the end of January.
