French Side Swimmers Break Records in Martinique

Three Carib Swim Team swimmers did their team proud over the weekend in Martinique. Joey Schvartz, Saphir Thomas, and Matias Piazza combined for thirteen new team records, despite some issues with their travel.

Joey set new marks for boys 12-year-old 100 breast, which also broke the Senior record. He reset the 12-year-old boys 800 free as well, in a new 'AAAA' time.

Saphir Thomas set new records for both 13-year-old girls, as well as Senior records, for 100 free (in a new 'AAA' time), 1500 free (with a new 'A' time), and 200 IM.

Matias Piazza broke the 14-year-old boys, as well as Senior records, in 100 free and 50 free.

Way to go!
