Weekly Update: 9/5/22 - 9/11/22
Hello Red Dragon Families!
First week of practice is HERE! We are so excited to have our Red Dragons back in the water!!!
Practice Schedule
Our first day of practice will be September 6th! ALL ATHLETES NEED TO REGISTER THROUGH TEAMUNIFY FOR THE 2022-2023 SEASON BEFORE COMING TO PRACTICE. You can do this on our website under registration. The USA registration process is also new and how to videos are posted to our registration page as well. When you register, EVERYONE needs to add on the USA registration fee! If you have any question on what group your athlete should sign up for please contact coach Jess. Our calendar is posted on our website and a downloadable calendar is also available on our website under Meets/Events.
Mandatory Parent Meeting
We will have a Parent Meeting on September 6th at 7PM. This will cover parent code of conduct, registration, meet schedule, practice schedule and the new USA registration process. PLEASE attend this if possible as this is a new process and it will be MUCH easier to communicate changes and registration in person.
Mandatory Athlete Meeting
We will have an Athlete Meeting on September 6th at 6:50PM. Athletes will have practice after the meeting and an ice cream social after their practice. Beginner and Advanved Minis will finish practice at 7:50PM on Sept 6th only. Bronze, Silver and Gold will finish practice at 8:20PM on Sept 6th only. PLEASE attend this practice if possible as they will be going over the Athletes Code of Conduct.
USA Swimming Registrations
Like I mentioned before, USA registrations have changed. All families will need to create a NEW USA Swimming account and will receive a new ID number for parents and athletes. This account is how you will register your athletes in USA Swimming. ALL athletes need to be USA registered before attend practice. To make a smooth transition, we want all families to do the USA registration process so we do not run into issues when swim meet start in October. We will be covering this in the parent meeting as well.
Mark Your Calendar NOW!
We need all families to mark their calendars NOW for the Senior State meet we are hosting on March 16-19th , 2023 at the Hulbert Aquatic Center. We need all the help we can get to have a fantastic meet at this level so please mark your calendars now!
