The Canyons Aquatic Club swimmers did a superb job competing this past weekend! Over half of the group made it to finals and got second swims. Izabella Adame took 1st place in the 100 meter Breaststroke and she achieved a Olympic Trials Wave II time standard! Her time of 1:09.25 is in the top 100 for the Fina Swimming World rankings! Kyle Brill won the 100 backstroke and he also finaled in the 100 meter breaststoke and 200 meter backstroke. Jonathan Gim won the C final in the 100 meter backstroke and broke the 1:00 barrier with a time of 59.84. In the 50 meter free, Riley Botton acheived her first US Open time and Jason Hawkins achieved his first Winter Junior National time.
