Canyons Aquatic Club received Safe Sport recognition!

Dear Canyons Families,

We are pleased to share that Canyons Aquatic Club has been recognized by USA Swimming as a Safe Sport Club.  This recognition reflects USA Swimming and Canyons Aquatic Club’s commitment to providing a healthy and positive environment free from abuse for all team members.

Canyons Aquatic Club is now part of a very select group of 17 teams that have achieved this recognition in the Southern California Swimming.

As part of the application process for Safe Sport Club Recognition, we were required to show our club governance is aligned with Safe Sport policies, reporting mechanisms, and Safe Sport best practices.

All of these measures were reviewed by USA Swimming Safe Sport staff for approval.  Our Safe Sport Club Recognition status is valid for two years, after which time we will be eligible to renew for recognition.
