Great First Day of Regions!

All our our swimmers in the morning session, Kaitlin Kunkle, Zachary Laprise, Elisabeth Anne Orr, Thomas Orr and Virginia Summer all made it back for finals tonight!   In Finals Elisabeth Anne had a best time in 100  breast and came in 7th in the region, while Kaitlin Kunkle swam a 1:07.58 and placed 2nd in the Region! Zachary Laprise had a best time of 1:15.84 in the 100 breastroke, Virginia Summer swam a best time in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.20 and placed 7th. Thomas Orr swam a 1:48.94 in the 200 free and placed 6th.  Virginia swam a best time of 1:00.69 in the 100 fly and placed 11th while Elisabeth Anne swam a best time of 1:01.68 in the event and placed 14th. Thomas placed 6th in the 100 fly with a 55.65 and in the 200 IM Kailtin placed 2nd with a best time of 2:11.74 and Elisabeth Anne place 5th with a best time of 2:13.10,

In the afternoon session, we had some great swims by Payton Gardner whose highlight was dropping 5 seconds in the 100 free and swimming a 1:14.62.  EJ McGinnis had a great 50 breastroke swim with a 40.61, Preston Farmer had a best time in the 100 free with a 1:05.83 and best time in 100 back with a 1:17.08.  Ben Hawkins got a AAA time in 50 breast with a 37,71 and came in 2nd in the Region!  Ben also had a best time in 100 free 1:07,54 placing 6th and placed 4th in the 500 free with a 6:13.21!!
