LYNETTE LIM AND INDIRA CERANIC REPRESENT PIRANHAS AT SECTIONALS

 

LONG BEACH,CA-Indira Ceranic and Lynette Lim represented the Piranhas at the California Nevada Sectionals held in Long Beach,Dec. 18-22,2009,which featured top swimmers from throught the state including many college teams.

Lim,who had just returned from the Southeast Asian Games in Laoes,where she won three gold and one silver medal,swam the Southeast Asian Games in Laos,where she won three gold and one silver medal,swam the 400 IM,100 ,200,and  500 free and 200 fly.he placed 14th in the 100 free with a time of the 500 free(4:48.03).Lim placed 11th in the 200 fly(2:01.21)and 16th in the 400 IM (4:26:21).

Ceranic ,who is a freshman at Palm desert high School,swam the 50,100,200 and 500 freestyle events.she swam the 50 free in 24.43,53.95 for the 100 free,1:55.91 for the 200 free.she swam the 500 free with a time of 5:17.75.

Piranhas competed in the 800 free relay with Ceranic ,Lim,Faith Travis and Kat Wickham,both 13 of Palm Springs.Their time was 7:52.33,earning them 34th place out of 52 teams.
