LYNETTE LIM BREAKS RECORDS AND BRINGS HOME GOLD FROM LAOS
Vientiane,Laos-Rancho Mirage resident Lynette Lim broke three national records for Singapore,while bringing home three gold medals and one silver medal from the Southeast Asian Games,Dec.10-14.
A Palm Spring High School senior,Lim has dual citizenship with the U.s, and Singapore. She swims for Team ingapore and trains with the Piranha Swim Taem.Lim broke the Singapore,while bringing home three gold medals and silver medal from the Southeast Asian Games,Dec,10-14.
A Palm Spring High School senior,Lim has dual citizenship with the U.S. and Singapore.She swims for Team Singapore and trains with the Piranha Swim Team.Lim broke the ingapore national and the SEA Games records in the 800-meter freestyle and 400-meter free relay.Lim’s time of 8:35.41 in the 800 m free, Cut seven seconds off her national record of 8:42.16,which she had set at the FINA world Championships in Room last August. The 400 m free relay time set new games and national records at 3:45:73.
Lim swam on the 800 m relay team, which broke the SEA Games records with a time of 8:11.75.the time was nine seconds faster than the previous SEA Games record of 8:20.77.Lim earned a silver medal in the 400 meter free (4:11:24)breaking the Singapore national record.
