Piranhas In Top 20 For Small Teams, 45th Overall

Long Beach- the Piranhas had a great evening session that helped push the team into the top 20 for small teams and 45th overall. Fueled by Indy's 6th place finish in the 50 free which gave us 24 points, combined with Adam's 3 points from the 400IM, the team total sits at 27 points, sitting us at 45th place for all of California and Nevada. Indy's swim of 23.75 improved her best time and helped the team in total points. The 400 free relay of Indy, Kat, Shelby, and Alissa swam oldest to youngest in a time of 3:41.20 placing 44th.

A big thrill this evening was Jason Lezak swimming at the meet and the swimmers getting to warm down right next to the Olympic legend. He was kind enough to pose for photos.

Tomorrow is the last day of the meet which will wrap up a very successful meet for the Piranhas.
