Travis Top 20 On Final Day - Great Swims

Long Beach - the Piranhas finished the California/Nevada Sectional meet with 4 best swims! Faith Travis highlighted the day with her swim in the 1650! In the final event of the day, she dropped 11 seconds to go 17:32.71 and is sitting in 10th place with the final heat remaining tonight. The day began with Indy swimming a personal best in the 100 back with a time of 1:00.02, Adam went 1:00.23 in the 100 breast, and Shelby improved her 100 fly to 1:00.11. The team swam the 400 medley relay with Christina Bruni, Sara Kennedy, Shelby and Indy. We will have to wait till finals tonight to get our official place and points.

The team had a great week of swims that culminated with multiple personal best times. Now, the team will focus on heavy training over the holidays to prepare for the season ending meet in February. This was a stepping point for great things in February! Let's all go to practice these two weeks and work hard!
