Piranhas On The Scoreboard As Koochaki Finals Twice On Day One Of JO's
Alissah Koochaki, Kelli Andrade, and Desiree Lewis all competed in day 1 of younger JO's. Andrade and Lewis each had a strong showing in the 50 breast with Andrade also swimming a very good 100 IM. This is the very first Spring JO's for both girls. The Piranhas are on the scoreboard thanks to two finals performances by Alissah Koochaki. Koochaki swam lifetime best times in both the 500 and the 50 freestyles, qualifying for consolation finals in the 500 and finals in the 50. In finals, Koochaki again improved in both races. Finishing 11th in the 500 and 8th in the 50, Koochaki scored the first points for the Piranhas in the 2 weekend Junior Olympic meet.
